Nice fruit - but Curry is even nicer!
 

Potato and onion curry

  • 200 g (7 oz) Potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup (60 g) 2 oz Onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) 1 fl oz Vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp (2 g) Turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp (4 g) Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) 4 fl oz water

Heat the oil in a wok; add onions and saute till light pink in colour.

Add potatoes and saute for 3 - 4 minutes.

Add turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder, and water.

Cook on medium heat till the potatoes are done and the mixture has dried. Serve hot.
